What’s the role?
The Director, Sales Enablement role plays a crucial part in the overall success of the Revenue organization. This individual will report directly to the VP, Revenue Operations and is responsible for overseeing and leading efforts to empower sales teams with the tools, resources, and strategies they need to be successful. This role bridges the gap between sales, marketing, and other departments to align the company's sales strategies with market demands and company goals, maximizing sales performance. This position plays a key role in ensuring the success of the sales organization by equipping the team with the right tools, training, and resources.

What’s the role?
The Director, Sales Enablement role plays a crucial part in the overall success of the Revenue organization. - Design and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy to drive sales effectiveness, efficiency, and growth.
- Align the sales enablement approach with company objectives, goals, and sales targets.
- Tailor content to align with the buyer’s journey and sales processes.
- Lead the creation and execution of ongoing training programs for the sales team to enhance skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Continuously assess and improve training based on feedback, performance metrics, and evolving business needs.
- Oversee the creation, distribution, and optimization of sales materials, content, and resources, including sales decks, product guides, case studies, and presentations.
- Ensure the sales team has access to the right tools and technologies to streamline processes and increase productivity.
- Work closely with sales leadership to understand team needs and provide effective solutions that improve sales processes.
- Help set clear sales goals, KPIs, and metrics to measure success.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales process and implement solutions to enhance workflow.
- Ensure consistent use of best practices, systems, and processes across the sales team.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of messaging, branding, and product offerings.
- Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure smooth operations and alignment of company strategies.
- Track and report on sales team performance and effectiveness of enablement initiatives.
- Provide coaching and support to ensure that sales representatives are equipped with the knowledge to effectively sell products/services.
- Analyze sales data and feedback to refine and improve sales training and enablement efforts.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new sales team members, ensuring they receive the necessary training, tools, and resources to hit the ground running.
- Assist in implementing new tools to streamline sales activities and increase productivity.
- SaaS background and experience in Higher Education preferred.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales enablement, sales, or marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record in leading and executing sales enablement strategies that drive performance and revenue growth.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, sales enablement platforms and other sales tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and optimize strategies.

- The base salary range* for this full-time position is between $120,000 - $145,000
